Belgrade, April 28, 2014 – Sports teams of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences competing in the international student sports tournament in Spain, defended last year’s overall champion title. Seven teams competed in Spain, and FOS handball team won their tenth gold medal at the student tournament in Paris.

In a strong competition, along with our teams, the tournament “EuroValencia 2014” in Spain (24-27 April, 2014) was attended by over 650 foreign students. The Faculty of Organizational Sciences participated with seven teams and a female player in table tennis. Gold medals went to the women’s basketball team, women’s football team, men’s volleyball team and the cheerleading team. The women’s volleyball and men’s basketball team won silver medals. Bronze went to table tennis players Iskra Hadžic, while football players of FOS after penalty kicks ended the contest in the quarterfinals.

At the 35th “Tournoi des Cinq Ballons” (21-26 April, 2014) organized by ESSEC Business School in Paris, in a strong competition, male handball team of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences won their tenth gold medal in this tournament. Second place went to Tranquillo student team from France, while the third place went to the students of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management from Opatija. The tournament was attended by around 800 students from 11 countries.
