From June 20 to 21st Faculty of Organizational Sciences has hosted the 2016 South-East European Forum on Data Science. Office for Naval Research Global was the main sponsor, while the main industrial sponsor was SAGA. The Forum has been officially opened by prof. dr Sanja Marinković, vice-dean for international cooperation Faculty of Organizational Sciences, CEO of SAGA, mr Nebojša Bjelotomić and prof. dr Boris Delibašić, president of the organization committee. The Forum has consisted of seventeen invited talks and an industry-academia workshop. The seventeen invited speakers were from United States of America, Romania, Slovenia, Macedonia and Serbia.

The goal of 2016 South-East European Forum on Data Science is to bring data science researchers and experts from South-East Europe region together to discuss the current state-of-the-art, collaboration opportunities and challenges of data science research, as well as explore funding opportunities.
