We take this opportunity to give you the most important information and updates regarding the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the measures taken by the University of Belgrade in a general effort taken across the country to curb the spread of the infection.
Please note that the University of Belgrade is closely monitoring the situation and proactively following healthcare and safety instructions in close coordination with the national authorities.
Following the recommendations given by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, as well as the Government of the Republic of Serbia, whilst at the same time trying to ensure our students have the least amount of disruption to their studies, the University of Belgrade has advised all our member faculties to organize distance-learning classes wherever possible and to minimize the presence of students at any of the lectures and other course work that cannot be organized remotely.
For the time being, we advise all international staff planning their mobility at the University of Belgrade, to reschedule their plans, until further notice. The same advice has been given to our outgoing staff until more information regarding travelling abroad has been provided by the authorities.
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia has also set up a website, where detailed and continuously updated information on the situation in the Serbia regarding the spread of the coronavirus:
