FOS participates in Erasmus+ project “D-PBL: advancing project-based learning into the Digital Era”

Professors and associates of the Department of e-business from FOS will participate in the Erasmus+ project “D-PBL: advancing project-based learning into the Digital Era”, financed within the KA2 programme for cooperation partnerships in higher education. The coordinator of the project is the University of Maia – ISMAI, from Portugal. Besides the University of Belgrade, partner institutions are Polytechnic Institute of Porto, Portugal, Vilnius College of Technologies and Design, Lithuania, University Of Patras, Greece, and Francisco de Vitoria University, Spain. The project will last for two years, starting January 2, 2022.

D-PBL project aims to combine digital teaching-learning with project-based learning, applied in an international context. D-PBL promotes outcomes-oriented learning while integrating transdisciplinary approaches with innovative pedagogical practices. The objectives of the D-PBL project are grounded on three dimensions: give sense to the technical skills by providing a real context to the learning path, give effective business-useful digital competencies, and integrate students in real multi-national teams. Partial specific objectives include: improving the lecturers’ digital skills; conceiving the space where students and lecturers will work on their projects; organizing multi-national teams that will learn by finding solutions for various business problems. Students will gain new competencies in distant project work based on real problems, combining and using the benefits of new technologies.
