Faculty and SSCPA successfully launched pilot mentoring program for FOS students

On Monday, February 7th 2022, Faculty of Organizational Sciences hosted the final event for the student mentoring program which was organized in cooperation with the Serbian Supply Chain Professionals’ ​Association (SSCPA).

The project was designed for graduating students of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, and involved practical mentoring of students with professionals from leading domestic and international manufacturing and service companies.

Through networking and cooperation of participants and mentors, the program enabled students to gain insight into the processes of organization and management of the supply chain in the companies IBM, Endava, Hemofarm, Connect Serbia, Bambi, and Knjaz Milos.

The mentoring program started in June 2021 and was successfully closed at the FOS with the presentation of practical solutions.

At the final event, the participants were addressed by Cmilja Tucaković, Procurement Manager at Endava and Mentoring Program Lead at SSCPA, and Professor dr Marko Mihić, Vice Dean for Strategic Development and Cooperation with companies at FOS.

Topics successfully presented by the teams of students and mentors were:

  • Career guidance and use of Wheel of Life tools for professional orientation – Sara Čortan, master student at FOS and Jelena Kostić, Business consultant, Connect Serbia;
  • The evolutionary path of procurement – the concept and significance of the Source to Pay process – Staša Stamatović, fourth year student at FOS and Cmilja Tucaković, Procurement Manager, Endava;
  • The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the business of production companies – Katarina Milosavljević, master student at FOS, and Biljana Ardelean, Head of production planning, Hemofarm.

The pilot program is planned to become a regular project of cooperation between the Faculty of Organizational Sciences and the Serbian Supply Chain Professionals’ ​Association.
