Тhe delegation of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences participated in the FOI International Days and Career Week, which were held from 26th to 27th May 2022 at the University of Zagreb – Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin, Croatia.
FOI International Days 2022 were held onsite with a two-day program. The first and main day of the event, May 26th, 2022, began with a presentation by Vesna Kotarski, Head of the Office for EU Projects of the University of Zagreb, on the topic of: “EU supported activities – competitive landscape in education/research/innovation”, and continued with the presentation of partner universities: University of Aegean from Greece, University of Žilina – Faculty of Management Science and Informatics from Slovakia, University of Belgrade – Faculty of Organizational Sciences from Serbia, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University – Faculty of Economics from North Macedonia and Koc University from Turkey. Faculty of Organizational Sciences was presented by Professor Sandra Jednak, Vice-dean for International Cooperation and Bojana Ivanović Bovan, International Relations Officer. An interactive panel discussion was held in the second part of the program entitled “How to foster internalization through short intensive programs – Covid related experiences and post-Covid opportunities”, and the rest of the day was reserved for networking and socializing.
The second day, May 27th, 2022, was primarily devoted to students who presented their short term and semester mobility abroad experiences, but interested employees and visitors attended. Beside other universities, FOI students presented their experience from study visit to FON held in March 2019.
The Career Week event was held from 23rd to 27th May 2022 with the aim of bringing together employers and FOI students. During the five days of the event, 70 companies took part, 40 workshops and 5 online drinks were held. In this event, in front of FON participated prof. dr Dušan Savić, Vice-dean for Undergraduate studies, prof. dr Dušan Barać, Vice-dean for Digital Development and Aleksandra Vojvodić, Public Relations Officer, who used this opportunity to get acquainted with the model of cooperation between the faculty and the economy.
During the two days of the visit, several meetings of FON representatives and FOI management (Professor Nina Begičević Ređep, dean, Professor Igor Balaban, Vice Dean for Science, Projects and International Cooperation, Professor Marina Klačmer Čalop, Vice Dean for Business and Human Resources, Professor Sandra Lovrenčić, Vice Dean for Education and Students) were held, on further directions of cooperation, mutual participation of employees in scientific and professional events of both institutions, joint mentorships, exchange of students and teachers, etc.
