A student team from Belgrade University comprising Anđela Žikić and Milutin Miljanić (Faculty of Organizational Sciences) and Uroš Krstić (Faculty of Electrical Engineering) under the mentorship of Assistant Professor Anđelković won the 1st place in the overall ranking at the 8th Students’ Contest in English for Engineering Universities organized by H.E. Moscow State University Bauman (https://nsce.bmstu.net/news/).

The contest was held online on 15-16 March 2023 and had over 80 candidates from approximately 30 universities. The overall theme of the contest was Artificial Intelligence, within which students were given individual and team assignments that required not only proficient English language knowledge specific to the field of AI, but also other skills, such as technical knowledge, creativity, analytical and problem-solving skills.

In individual ranking, Milutin Miljanić won the 1st, and Anđela Žikić and Uroš Krstić the 2nd place. In the team category, out students were also the best, which made them absolute winners of this students’ contest.
