H.E. Yahel Vilan, Ambassador of Israel to the Republic of Serbia, and Professor Josep Torrellas from the University of Illinois visited the Faculty of Organizational Sciences on Monday, 22 May 2023. The visit was initiated by Prof. Veljko Milutinović, PhD, a visiting professor at FON. On behalf of the Faculty, the guests were welcomed and greeted by Prof. Sandra Jednak, PhD, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation, Prof. Dušan Barać, PhD, Vice-Dean for Digital Development, and Prof. Dušan Savić, PhD, Vice-Dean for Undergraduate Studies.

During the visit, the guests were introduced to the work and the activities of the Faculty, visited the Faculty buildings as well as the Research and Development Center, discussed the possibilities of establishing cooperation with Israeli universities, and the University of Haifa in particular, and also talked about the organization of academic programs and events within the Embassy of Israel, and the like. During his visit to Belgrade, US Professor Torrellas delivered a guest lecture titled “Advances in Computing” to the students of the University of Belgrade.
