Visit of the delegation of the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies of the Slovak University of Technology

A delegation of the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies of the Slovak University of Technology visited the Faculty of Organizational Sciences on Monday, May 23rd, 2022. This was the first official meeting of representatives of both faculties, which was organized on the initiative of professor Ivan Luković.

The delegation from Slovakia consisted of: prof. Ing. Ivan Kotuliak, PhD, Dean, doc. Dr. Ing. Michal Ries, PhD, Dean’s Advisor for strategic projects and Deputy Director of the Institute of Computer Engineering and Applied Informatics, Ing. Lukáš Šoltés, PhD, Vice Dean for studies and student care, doc. Ing. Valentino Vranić, PhD, Vice-Dean for Science and Research and Director of the Institute of Informatics, Information Systems and Software Engineering. The guests were welcomed, greeted and talked to by prof. dr Sandra Jednak, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation, prof. dr Dragana Makajić Nikolić, Vice-Dean for postgraduate studies, prof. dr Dušan Savić, Vice-Dean for undergraduate studies, prof. dr Dušan Barać, Vice-Dean for digital development and teachers, prof. dr Ivan Luković from the Department of Information Systems, prof. dr Vladan Devedžić, Head of the Department of Software Engineering, prof. dr Nenad Aničić, Head of the Department of Information Systems and doc. dr Bojan Jovanoviћ from the Department of Information Technology.

During the visit, both faculties were presented, and the possibilities for establishing cooperation in common areas of interest, such as software engineering, information systems and information technologies, were discussed. The guests visited the Research and Development Hub of the Faculty. It was agreed to initiate the signing of an agreement on cooperation at the level of two universities, which would be the starting point for further formalization and implementation of cooperation.
