On Wednesday, 7 June 2023, the Faculty of Organizational Sciences was visited by a delegation of Shandong University – School of Management, consisting of Prof. Wu Changqi, Ph.D., Dean, Prof. Shuo Zhou, Ph.D., Vice-Dean for International Cooperation and Prof. Ding Ronggui, Ph.D., Director of the Project Management Institute. The guests were welcomed and had a meeting with Prof. Sandra Jednak, Ph.D., Vice-Dean for International Cooperation, Prof. Dušan Savić, Ph.D., Vice-Dean for Undergraduate Studies, Prof. Dušan Barać, Ph.D., Vice-Dean for Digital Development, Prof. Vladimir Obradović, Ph.D. and Prof. Marija Todorović, Ph.D. from the Department of Interdisciplinary Research in Management.
Representatives of both faculties presented their institutions and discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of exchange of students and teachers, joint study and other programs to increase the internationalization of both institutions. The guests visited the Faculty facilities and were introduced to the work of the Research and Development Center.
On the same day, the Faculty of Organizational Sciences organized a Serbian – Chinese forum entitled Converging Forces: Belt and Road Initiative for Sustainable Societal and Economic Advancement, which is held within the 27th International Congress on Project Management “Interdisciplinarity as a key link of the project profession”. The introductory speakers at the forum were Prof. Wu Changqi, Ph.D., Prof. Ding Ronggui, Ph.D., Ms Ivona Lađevac, Deputy Director of the Institute for International Politics and Economics, and Prof. Mladen Čudanov, Ph.D., full professor at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences.
The introductory lectures were followed by a discussion on the topic “Converged Forces: Belt and Road Initiative for Sustainable Societal and Economic Advancement” in which Prof. Wu Changqi, Ph.D., Prof. Shuo Zhou, Ph.D., Prof. Ding Ronggui, Ph.D., Ms Ivona Lađevac, Assoc Prof. Rebeka Danijela Vlahov Golomejić, Ph.D. from the University of Zagreb – Faculty of Economics & Business, Mr Zhang Qingkuo, Chairman of Aihua International Education Technology Group and Prof. Mladen Čudanov, Ph.D. participated. The facilitator of the forum was Prof. Vladimir Obradović, Ph.D.
As part of the visit to Serbia, guests from China visited the University of Belgrade the previous day, where they were received by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Ratko Ristić, Ph.D. The two universities already have established cooperation and a signed cooperation agreement, which makes an excellent base for further development of cooperation between the School of Management of Shandong University and the Faculty of Organizational Sciences of the University of Belgrade.
