The opening ceremony of the XVI International Symposium SymOrg 2018 organized by the Faculty of Organizational Sciences will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 in Zlatibor, at the USO Congress Center Ratko Mitrovic. The central topic of the Symposium is “Doing Business in the Digital Age: Challenges, Approaches and Solutions”.
This year’s Symposium will host four round tables with distinguished panelists from the fields of economy and science. The main speakers at SymOrg will be Branislav Vujović, New Frontier Group, Austria; TAN, So Jiuan, Nus Business School Singapore, and Katri Kerem, Estonia Business School, Estonia.
An added value to SymOrg 2018 Program will be the students’ programming case study competition SymOrg Case Study Hackathon 2018. The competition has been organized in cooperation with the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED) and will be held on the 7th and the 8th of June 2018.
SymOrg, the International Symposium of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences was founded in 1989. Ever since, our Faculty biennially organizes SymОrg with the aim of improving the theory and the practice of management and related disciplines. The Symposium attracts national and international academic and research community, representatives of corporative, public and non-governmental sector, as well as students of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies. By representing their results, knowledge and experiences, SymOrg participants have taken an active role in contemplating and analyzing relevant management topics and issues.
