Projectification and Sustainable Governance of Projects

Within the Erasmus + project of Strategic Partnership „Project Orientation and Sustainable Governance of Projects“ (PASGOP), on Thursday, September 9th, 2021, starting at 13:00 (GMT+0) – (GMT +2), an event will be held in order to present goals and results of the PASGOP project.

The event is organized by the University of Iceland and will be held online, through the MS Teams platform. Registration for participation in the event can be found at the following link.

Speakers at the event will be: Inga Minelgaite, Professor at the School of Business, University of Iceland, David Cook, Post-doctoral research, Environment and Natural Resources, University of Iceland,  Ingibjörg Karlsdóttir, PhD candidate, School of Business, University of Iceland  and Dragan Bjelica, Assistant Professor at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Organizational Sciences.

Sustainability principles have many applications in the field of project management. A large number of organizations aspire to be project oriented and bring higher value to the whole society. The main goal of the project is development of an international course in collaboration between University of Iceland, Vilnius University and University of Belgrade.

The project started in September 2020 and it will last for 36 months. During this three year period intensive course will be involved into study process of Master studies in partner universities. The course will be based on a variety of teaching methods and will address the management of project-oriented organizations and the sustainability aspect of project management.
