{"id":389,"date":"2014-12-11T14:07:55","date_gmt":"2014-12-11T13:07:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fon.bg.ac.rs\/eng\/?p=389"},"modified":"2014-12-22T14:24:14","modified_gmt":"2014-12-22T13:24:14","slug":"first-master-thesis-in-library-gamification-on-a-world-scale-has-been-presented-at-faculty-of-organizational-sciences","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oldfon.fon.bg.ac.rs\/eng\/2014\/12\/first-master-thesis-in-library-gamification-on-a-world-scale-has-been-presented-at-faculty-of-organizational-sciences\/","title":{"rendered":"First master thesis in library gamification on a world scale has been presented at Faculty of Organizational Sciences"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Based on the insights of University Library \u201cSvetozar Markovi\u0107\u201d personnel, first master thesis based at practical application of gamification in libraries, on a world scale, has been presented at Faculty of Organizational Sciences in November 2013<sup>th<\/sup>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Master thesis has been titled \u201cImprovement of Dart Consortium Organization Using Gamification Practice\u201d, was presented by the candidate Diana Parli\u0107 on 27<sup>th<\/sup> of November of 2013<sup>th<\/sup>, under supervision of committee of Mladen \u010cudanov, PhD; Ondrej Ja\u0161ko, PhD and Vladimir Obradovi\u0107, PhD, with immense support of Adam Sofronijevi\u0107, Director of the Department for library digitalization systems and cultural programs. Dart portal is leading e-thesis portal, synthesizing Master and PhD thesis from 541 universities and 27 countries of Europe, and first to start experimenting with gamification practice. It has been estimated that this interesting field will be applied by 70% of Global 2000 companies by the end of this year, and Gartner estimates budget of 2.8 billion USD on gamification projects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gamification is the practice of applying game elements in a different context. A large number of business organizations in various fields use this approach to improve their business.
