Delegation of University of Belgrade \u2013 Faculty of Organizational Sciences has visited Matej Bel University from 3rd<\/sup> \u00a0to 7th<\/sup> of December in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia within the Erasmus + KA1 project: Financial Management, Accounting & Controlling curricula development for capacity building of public administration \u2013 FINAC.Study visit included three days of lectures, which was attended by around 40 participants from all project partners. Project leader for MBU, doc. Ing. Maria Murray Svidronova, PhD and professor Sla\u0111ana Benkovi\u0107, PhD, project coordinator, opened the meeting with a welcome speech addressing all the participants. After that on behalf of MBU dean of Faculty of Economics, doc. Ing. Peter Kri\u0161tof\u00edk, PhD greeted and welcomed all participants.<\/p>\n

During the first day of activities, doc. Ing. Maria Murray Svidronova, PhD was talking about importance of FINAC for Matej Bel University while professor Sla\u0111ana Benkovi\u0107, PhD talked about results obtained in the first 6 months of the project. Steering Committee held a meeting where it was discussed about Adoption of Report on the implementation of the last 3 months activities on the Project and Adoption of External independent expert for preparing Report on external evaluation. Later during the day, participants had a great opportunity to hear about Evaluation of public administration reforms in Central and Eastern Europe EU member states presented by Prof. Ing. Juraj Nemec, CSc. from Matej Bel University and Masaryk University, also president of NISPA CEE association; Management of Civil Service Reform in Central Europe presented by doc. Katar\u00edna Staro\u0148ov\u00e1 from Institute of Public Policy, Faculty of social and economic sciences, Comenius University.<\/p>\n

The second day of activities included presentations held by: Jozef Petr\u00e1\u0161 Member of the Group of Experts establishes by the United Nations in the field of Anti-corruption Measures in Public Administration. Advisor in international organizations UNDP, OSCE, Committee of the Regions EU, CIVEX, Transparency International, Toward Transparency Vietnam, IRI and OSCAC on the topic of Active Participation and Citizen Engagement in Good Governance; also Ing. Mari\u00e1n Hol\u00fabek Project manager in programs like MUNSEFF Municipal Sustainable Energy Finance Facility, SERPENTE Surpassing Energy Targets through Efficient Public Buildings, PERMANENT Performance Risk Management For Energy Efficiency Project Through Training and many more, on the subject of Project Management in Public services. Then Miroslav \u0160imkovi\u010d President of Via Altera, NGO about Participatory budgeting as a tool for effective public services provision. Lastly doc. Ing. Maria Murray Svidronova, PhD and professor Sla\u0111ana Benkovi\u0107, PhD summed up activities of the working part of the second day of study visit. In the evening University of Matej Bel organized a dinner event for all project participants accompanied by performance of University artistic ensemble Mladost.<\/p>\n

Last day presentations were held by doc. Ing. Maria Murray Svidronova, PhD, and professor Beata Mikusova Merickova, PhD about SOLIDUS project presentation & round table (discussion on project in public administration); Doc. Ing. Maria Murray Svidronova, PhD and professor Sla\u0111ana Benkovi\u0107, PhD concluded this study visit and planned activities for next three months of the project realization.
